Spring is coming….

Any day now…spring is coming also to our corner of the world. Unfortunately we will not share yet another spring with our old girl Bonnibel as she was laid to rest on the 9 of March. We had promised her that she was going to leave with dignity and so she did, old and tired but still with her head high. The house feels utterly empty without her, but we know we made the right decision. She would have been 13 years old on the 12 of May 2023. Rest in peace our dear little ladybug.

As life goes on, even when our loved ones leave us, we are planning for the spring and summer ahead of us. In May we will have a little reunion, we will spend some days training dogs, eating good food and just hang out together, something we very much look forward too.

Many of you have been asking when we will have puppies again and we wish we could say soon – but this time it isn’t up to just us. We need to apply for an outcross litter and unfortunately the climate for venues like that isn’t too welcoming in the breeders community. Still, we hope to get an approval from the Kennelclub. If not, no puppies will be borned and registered in the Kennelclub as we refuse to contribute to yet another litter with really high inbreeding. Time will tell, the only thing we know for sure right now is that we will never back down from our most important criteria – health.
